Broccoli Rabe

Broccoli Rabe Broccoli Rabe can be thought of as a cross between broccoli and mustard greens. The flower buds are similar in appearance to brocoli but are smaller as are the stems but the leaves comprise a large part of the vegetable. A classic Italian-American treatment of broccoli rabe to to pair it with Italian sausage either as a pasta condiment or as a side dish. It is also wonderful simply sautéed with olive oil and garlic and dressed with lemon juice. Andy Boy is a major producer and holds four patents for growing Broccoli Rabe.
