Very attractive aromas of fresh berries, raspberries and cherries. Full-bodied, with fine tannins and a medium, refined finish. Lots of finesse.

Lovely dense colour, fine nose of blackcurrant and tightly knit flavours, firmly structured fruit, slightly smoky, very fine expression, very classic, very long. Drink 2009-2020
Wine Magazine Rating: 89-93
Another of the top wines of the year, this has good, ripely sweet cassis fruit and tannins that are just ripe enough. There is good concentration here, but none of the jammy character that marks some other 2002s.
