| St Emilion, Bordeaux The 2000 Clos de Prince, my first experience with this St.-Emilion, is stunning. Notes of coffee, blackberries, cassis, and cola jump from the glass of this full-bodied, fat, chewy, ripe, dense, highly-extracted effort. With excellent balance, sweet tannin, and enough acidity for delineation, it is best consumed during its first 10-15 years of life. It is unquestionably a sleeper of the vintage.
