One is immediately struck by the rich, deep purple hues. In the nose the wine has good intensity, with aromas of dark berries, spice, slight hints of rhubarb, and a touch of oak. This Cabernet vintage has a good weight and presence on the palate. It is nicely balanced from entry to finish. The flavors mimic the nose with added nuances of strawberries and cedar. The finish is clean and long and invites one back for more.
