Herding Cats Merlot/Pinotage marries Merlot with earthy Pinotage and creates a wildly free-spirited African disposition. This wine is smooth and supple with aromas of cherry, vanilla and mocha tones. The palate is soft and velvety with a lingering aftertaste following though. Serve at room temperature with Venice casserole and cranberry sauce (also very good with a spicy skirt steak on the grill).
