The bouquet reveals intense fruit aromas, violets, mixed dark berries and hints of chocolate, with sweet vanillin characters uplifting the fruit. The palate follows on with mouth filling flavours and balanced concentration through the full length of palate. Mulberry flavours from the Merlot add softness and help flesh out the mid-palate. The wine finishes with balanced acidity and a long fine tannin structure which will enable this wine to age particularly well. Suggested Food: Char-grilled Scotch fillet. Cellaring: 8-10 years. |
