A tattered ledger dated 1809 establishees Mount Gay as the oldest distillery on Barbados. DESCRIPTION : Amber with a copper cast. Medium-bodied. Reminiscent of clover honey, dried herbs, pineapple, orange blossom. Compact texture, a bit sharp on the palate. Flinty, dried-fruit components are key. Well balanced, with a nice fragrant finish.
